We leave for Barcelona on July 3rd and return on July 13th. Our itinerary is:
We arrive in Barcelona early in the morning on July 4th, after a Red Eye flight direct from Charlotte; and will spend July 4th and the morning of July 5th in Barcelona. We plan to board the ship around mid-day and sail at 5 PM.
This is a 'port intensive' cruise with only one sea day to relax on board the beautiful Equinox. Part of our fun will be to share some of our favorite places with Carson and Aaron. We're using the same tour company in Rome that we used on our first visit in 2005 (did I say that we were more than satisfied?) and are doing Barcelona and Vemice on our own since we have spent time in both cities. Barcelona is Art's favorite European city and Venice is my 2nd favorite! It will be exciting to visit new ports also - Cannes (France), Genoa (Italy), Kotor (Montenegro), and Zadar (Croatia).
